Duke
JSYK (that's "just so you know" for all of you non-texters--not that I know much about texting myself), I talked with Duke today. I am in the process of getting in touch with the neurosurgeon here to FedEx copies of Mike's MRI's and a sample tissue from the biopsy to them. Duke wants to do a reading of the tissue themselves. The doctor here has known since yesterday that we're looking at going to Duke, but they seem to lollygag a bit around here, so I'm trying to go ahead and get that ball rolling.

I can't even imagine what you are going through. I heard about Mike in Staff meeting on Monday and I have been praying for you guys ever since.

Bubba and Diane, You are in our prayers, and thoughts. If anyone can beat this, it is STARNES. Just remember how bad you were when you had your knee operated on. With friends you got through that. And you will get through this also

I just wanted you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. In fact, Ms. Doretha, Ms. Gloria, V. Stilwell and I prayed for you and Mike yesterday in my office.
When you get ready to travel to Duke, please contact me concerning the hospital, clinic, parking, hotel accomodations, whatever you need. We will be traveling there in March and I will be glad to help in anyway that I can. Don't forget to take care of yourself too.
