First Signs

Mike began having headaches and dizziness in June. I noticed the following odd behaviors beginning around Christmas:
Difficulty concentrating/delayed response when answering questions
Loses train of thought
Not going out to buy general household items
Sleeping late
Staying around the house all day.
Not going to work (even though school was out for Christmas break, Mike usually goes in on his days off to get things done)
Not watching college football games
Not checking cell phone messages
No concept of time

Diane and Mike,
You are in our prayers always! We are hoping for the lottery too, but please know that we are here for you anytime. I don't live far away and if you need me, please call. I really mean that. Rachel would love the company of your girls if you need us. In the meantime, we are praying and waiting to hear your news.

Diane and Mike,
You are in our prayers also. I am CJ Morris' sister and a friend of Cindy and Harry's. My two Granddaughter's attend NTBC preschool and are the ages of 2 and 4. I pick them up everyday at noon. My son and his wife both work and I keep my Granddaugher's. If you ever need a sitter, please do not hesitate to call or if there is ever anything I can do for you all, please let me know. I will be praying for the lottery, too. Oh, and Diane, I have alot of staples here, just call if they need any. I will bring them to the Doc's!!!

Diane and Mike,
Just want to let you know that we are praying for you and your family, as well as the doctors and nursing staff who are taking care of Mike. We are also praying for good results of the biopsy and for that miracle to happen!

Just know that we are here for you and if there is anything that we can do to help, please give us a call.

We have missed you guys and those great meetings with the RV Book Club!

We really appreciate this blog so that we can keep up with the news of Mike! Hopefully it will be soon filled with great news!

Lots of love!

Diane,

I am on the RNE Booster Club Board and get to meet with Coach Starnes regulary. I consider him my friend. He's the best RNE Athletic Director I've known and we need him back. I'll be praying for his recovery and will pass his name on to the prayer list at SV Baptist Church. Please call if I can do anything for you. Thank you so much for this blog.

Diane and Mike,

This is Harold B. Neel. I graduated from Thornwell in '84. Mike and my brother Clark graduated together in '82. My wife and I were at the reunion this summer. It was so great to see Mike after so many years.

I'm not sure why this has entered your life, but I know that we can handle ANYTHING with Christ on our side. God will not give us more than we can handle, although I have often asked Him if He really thought I could take care of what was place on my shoulders. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and you will be fine.

Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. If there is anything you need please give us a call.
