No Change

As was the case yesterday, Mike is moving his arms and legs a bit, but he doesn’t do anything on command. He is on some medication that has controlled the seizures; he hasn’t had any more. The neuro-oncologist wants to just watch and see what he does over the weekend. There may or may not be any change; there’s no way to predict that. Today around 4:00 will be the 48 hour mark since Mike was taken off of the Versed. If there continues to be no change, we are going to try to transport Mike back to Columbia later in the week, so we can be home. As far as what the ICU is doing here, that same treatment can be done in Columbia. Our oncologist in Columbia has agreed to oversee him there if we end up doing that. He talks to the oncologists here regularly, so they will be able to communicate about what to do if Mike makes any changes later.

Diane, Please tell Mike that his old orphan buddies, Charles, Mark, Pam and Betsy Lahay all love him dearly. Please pass that to him. We are still praying for you and the girls.

Diane- Our family is continuing to lift you and Mike up to the Lord in prayer. I have a great picture of you and Mike when you were here at our house for CR's Masters Party. It was a fun day!

This is one of my favorites verses:
Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart:and do not lean on your own understanding: In all your ways acknowledge Him, and he will make your paths straight."

Hopefully this verse will ease your heavy heart.

We're praying for complete healing!!!

Love to you all,

Karen Hall (CR's Mom)

Diane: Please let Mike know that my family and I are praying for him. I know it is very hard on you and the girls but put God first and he will see you through this. Just let us know how is transfer goes when he comes back to columbia, my family and I would like to visit with him if it is possible. Again, we are always thinking of you and Mike and only pray that things work out. Miracles do happen. If any of the Lahays or the Rockerfellers reads this blog please give me a call at 843 344 2849. Diane: I pray for you and your entire family today. Psalm 31 says that the Lord is our "rock of refuge" and "strong fortress to save". Praying that you find refuge as you cling to the ROCK, and that you find continued strength as you walk through this illness. I pray with you for Mike's total healing.

Diane,

Ray and I are thinking about you and Mike and the girls every day. Several times a day, as we think of you, we send up another prayer. Thanks so much for keeping everyone updated via the blog. As others have mentioned, we are amazed at your courage and strength.

We love ya'll!
