The results from Mike’s MRI are back, and they are not good. The tumor has grown by 30% since he was admitted last Monday, and his brain is hemorrhaging. The doctors have said there is nothing they can do for him now; it will just be a matter of days. We are working on having him transported to a hospital in Columbia, but that probably won’t happen until tomorrow.

You don't know me but I work with Mike(Sparky)Hudson in Greenwood. I have been a reader of this blog and a prayer soldier for you, your husband, your family and the doctors and nurses caring for him. I know this is the hardest thing you have ever had to face. I pray that you and your family will feel God's loving arms embracing you during this time. God's love for us never leaves or abandons us. Thanks be to God, our heavenly Father

Diane,

We've never met, but I'm Priscilla's little sister, Rosa. I grew up with Mike in my life, always at our Mom's for Thanksgiving and Christmas. He brought much laughter and love to our family. Your family is in my prayers everyday.

I am so sad to hear your news today. I just want to say that
you, your family and Mike's family are being lifted up in prayer dear sister. Our Precious Lord and Saviour knows just what you are feeling and exactly what you need. I pray that he will provide for you and Mike and your family what they need moment by moment and hour by hour. I also pray that you are leaning hard on Jesus - for when we are weak He is strong.

Please know that ya'll are still in my prayers...constantly. I'm sorry for the latest news. God still performs miracles for the faithful. I saw a billboard today that made me think of you... "alone you can't...together we can...-God" I have been so amazed at your strength and your sense of humor in your blogs. I know God has been with you through all of this, and I know He will continue to embrace you in the days to come. I pray that God will help you find peace, no matter what the outcome. Please let me know if there's anything I can do for you, the girls, or your Mom.

Dear Diane,
As always you have been a true wife, mother of his children and friend for Mike. Please tell Claire that I am so sorry for being so emotional when I called. As you know, I have only a few true and dear friends and Mike is at the top. I, like eveyone else envisioned Mike being there and with us forever.... but it will not to be the case.
If God would have let me pick someone for a brother, Mike would have been it. He was there for me when I needed help through all my difficult times as a real brother would have been.
I have never seen someone with the spunk and friendship that he has shared with so many friends.
We will all miss so terribly much but we all know not as much as you will. Mine and Morgan's heart goes out to you and the girls.
Much Love, Billy and Morgan

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

Diane,

I have been reading your post every day and am in awe at the strength that you have maintained-Mike couldn't have been in better hands. I was praying for God to reveal himself in a very real way to you and praying that His will would include a miracle. I am so very sorry the results of the MRI were so devastating and will continue to stand in the gap for you praying constantly. Just know that there are many of us at Airport that stand ready to help you in any and all ways that we can.

Each morning and night as I have prayed for you, Mike, Ava and Savannah, I have repeatedly had a verse come to mind...Psalm 121

I lift up my eyes to the hills-
where does my help come from?

My help comes from the Lord,
the maker of heaven and earth.

He will not let your foot slip-

he who watches over you will not slumber;

indeed, he who watches over Israel
will not slumber;

indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord watches over you-

the Lord is your shade at your right hand;

the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.

The Lord will keep you from all harm-

he will watch over your life;

the Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.

Love,
Jamie

Diane,

I have kept Mike in my thoughts and prayers over the last few days and I will continue to do so. Know that God works in mysterious ways, ways that sometime we can't or won't understand. I pray that he touches your family with healing hands and gives you and the girls the strength necessary to make it through. Mike is lucky to have your love and devotion. Just remember that you both or better people because of each other!
Always thinking of you and your family.

Dear Diane and Family,
I’ve been touched by your daily blogs. Your strength and courage are true testaments of faith. Daily I pray for Mike, you and the girls. We are never sure why things happen as they do, but please know that God is a loving God, who will always be with us even when we question why. Somehow in all of this we seem to find the strength and courage, it's because of faith. Please never stop having faith. May God give you and your family continued strength, courage and comfort. It's obvious that many people are praying for you and Mike at this most difficult time. You'll continue to be in my prayers. Nancy Weber(Kelly Micalone's Mom)
